The beach is a ten minute walk from the land. Surfers and ocean lovers find their people here.

Regeneration, in practice

We keep the forest whole, so life can move through it

Amora is over 100 hectares. One green thread of forest runs through all of it. That thread is a biological corridor, forest that stays connected so animals can cross.

Where the forest stands, we leave it standing. Where it is broken, we plant it back.

1,500+fruit trees and native hardwoods, planted: Reforesting the land since 2024.
Room to cross: We keep the canopy joined from the high ground to the water.
Bamboo and adobe: We build with what grows here, and with clay and straw.
The clearings: We build in the clearings, and let the forest keep the rest.

The centers connecting the village

Where the village will meet, grow, and heal

These are the four centers we will create. Each one holds the same belief: life is better shared. A village that eats, learns, and heals together stays whole, the way the forest does.

Community Center

A day in the village

Mornings in the water. Evenings around the fire.

Mornings belong to the ocean, a ten minute walk down the path. Surf, or play with the kids in the waves.

The rest of the day belongs to the land: the co-working space, the retreat center, the nature classroom, a dip in the river. Children remember their magic in nature while elders pass on what they know.

At the heart of the village, looking out over the ocean, we will build the community center, where the potlucks already happen and we end the day singing around the fire.
