What this site is

amora.cr tells the story of Amora — a regenerative village community in Dominicalito, Costa Rica — and invites you to meet us: at a webinar, a potluck, a land tour, or a call. Everything on it is informational. It describes where we are and where we're heading, as honestly as we can.

Nothing here is an offer

Nothing on this website is a legal offering, an investment solicitation, or an offer to sell real estate. The exact legal structure of the village is still being shaped — and the people becoming stewards are helping shape it. What's fixed is the intention: you own your home, and you steward the land together with the community. The pages here describe that intention; they don't constitute it. Any future step — a deposit, an agreement, a home — happens through its own documents, in person, with everything spelled out.

The founding gift

The $100 Founding Seeder contribution is a one-time, non-refundable gift. It is not a membership, not a reservation, and not a purchase of anything — it's a gift that helps the village take root, and we treat it (and say it) exactly that way.

Visiting the land

Gatherings at Amora happen outdoors, on real land: uneven terrain, weather, insects, and the other honest risks of a living forest by the sea. Everyone who visits signs our liability waiver once before coming — it takes two minutes and keeps expectations clear for everyone. RSVPing to an event means you (and the adults in your group) accept those inherent risks and agree to follow the safety guidance of the Amora team while on the land.

Photos, words, and reuse

The photographs, videos, and text on this site belong to Amora Community (or are used with permission). You're welcome to share links to our pages. If you'd like to reuse our images or words elsewhere, just ask first at community@amora.cr — we usually say yes.

Links to other places

Some links lead away from amora.cr — to Stripe for payments, Vimeo for webinar videos, Instagram and Facebook for our community feeds. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices, which we don't control.

Limits of our responsibility

We work to keep this site accurate and current, but we're a small community, not a publishing house — details can lag behind reality, and the site is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent Costa Rican law allows, Amora isn't liable for losses that come from relying on the site's content or from being unable to reach it. If something here looks wrong or out of date, please tell us and we'll fix it.

Governing law

Amora lives in Costa Rica, and these terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica.
